Matt and I just missed our bus. And so to occupy our time: iPhones.

I just don’t see why they have to be mutually exclusive. Can’t I have both?

My Tea is Pleased

On the way into work this morning Matt hit a pothole or something, sending my frothy London Fog all over my hand.
On the upside, it resulted in this jaunty, bearded fellow. Maybe it was the lack of sleep but I couldn’t stop chuckling. Or more likely, he’s just awesome.
He was delicious.

Evil Billiards?

It’s like pool combined with skip bowls and spite. I can’t even fathom what the rules could be.
Are you aiming for the holes? Are they death pits? Do groundhogs live down there?
Perhaps they are where the billiard gnomes live.

True That

Ah, the Trodat Printy-Dater. I think they made a lot of improvement with the 4700-series models.
Someday I’ll design a stapler and call it the Stapley-Clicky.

Handcuffed On the Pavement

That’s how my night ended, how was yours?
Returning from seeing the late show of the Dark Knight at 1:00AM, I note to Matt that, “For such empty streets there sure are several police vehicles around.”
Matt responds (with timing I wish I could write), “Yeah, but their lights aren’t on so–” before an unmarked K9 unit [...]

Becoming a Man

I am currently in line at ICBC Driver Services. It’s like the DMV only more Canadian and less archaic. Still archaic but it only takes 10 mins and a birth certificate to get an ID card that isn’t my passport.
Incidentally, that’s why I’m here.

12 Hour Edit

I got up at noon today (having been up late working on this very video) and I’m just now finishing it up. This is a shot of the editing timeline, with it’s 8 video layers and 6 audio tracks.
It’s been quite the slog. Luckily it turned out very well.

2nd Hand Glasses

We were in Value Village looking for character glasses and there was no mirror around. So because of their failure at producing a reflective surface, you get this. $3.99’s not bad I guess.

Giant Beetle

Okay, so it’s not big for some countries but this is a pretty large beetle to find in Canada. Of course including our $2 coin for scale is only helpful to other Canadians. Hmmm… Guess we didn’t think that one through.
In summation: Beetle.
